The class of '57 proudly announces the schedule of events for our 60th reunion.
The all school alumni annual dinner is scheduled for Thursday evening, September 14, 2017, in the school gymnasium.  Cretin will be sending out notices and registration information early to mid August.  Our class, along with our wives/significant others, will have a special meeting room where we will congregate for a social,  and then be introduced and ushered to our special tables located in the front of the room.  A major piece of the evening presentation will be one of our classmates being called to the podium to announce our 60th class gift, which currently exceeds $100,000 dollars, and is dedicated for a brand new school fund initiated by our class. (More details at the end of this statement).

Our class of '57 along with wives/significant others, will gather again at the school beginning at 4:00PM on Friday, September 15, 2017.  Several Cretin students will be available to take small groups on a tour of our facilities and grounds.  Mass is scheduled to begin at 5:00PM, and our celebrant will be our fellow classmate Rev. Bryan O'Rourke.  Then we will enjoy a social hour with a cash bar, and a delicious catered dinner of "surf and turf".

The formal announcement for our special get together on Friday September 15th was mailed to all classmates on Thursday, July 13, 2017.  It included a registration form and envelope along with instructions on how you may register on-line.

SIGNUM FIDEI FUND
Our class of '57 has established our 60th Anniversary Class Gift in honor of Brother Kevin and Cretin has applied the name of "SIGNUM FIDEI FUND". 
We have commitments from our class for over $100,000 to date, and are hopeful that all of our classmates will strongly consider joining the early contributors in an effort to maximize our total gift, which will be announced by one of the class of '57 at the all alumni banquet on September 14, 2017.
Every year a few Cretin students find themselves with unforeseen family financial hardships, and our SIGNUM FIDEI FUND will be used by the President of CDH to assist  when a family finds themselves suddenly unable to fulfill a tuition commitment for their son or daughter.  These financial hardships may be the result of a parents' death, disease, or temporary unemployment, and use of our SIGNUM FIDEI FUND will be left totally to the discression of the CDH President.
Acceptance of the class of '57 fund creation has been favorably assessed by some classes immediately following us and we believe at least some of them will continue to support the SIGNUM FIDEI FUND!!  And the faculty of Cretin are thrilled with this fund creation which your class has started.
